The Seven Healing Chakras and The Endocrine System Level I

The Seven Healing Chakras and the Endocrine System Level I is a journey into the energetic, physiological and psychological healing components of the Chakra System, an ancient system of healing born out of Ayurvedic Medicine, a system that heals with natural foods, movement, sleep, herbs and personal power. We will discuss the history of the Chakras as well as its’ evolution into Western/Allopathic Medicine.  We will discuss and experiment with our relationship to security and grounding, flexibility and movement, personal power, compassion and love, truth-telling and becoming our authentic selves, listening to our intuition and connecting to our spirit.  Each Chakra is related to a glandular connection and to the emitting hormone particular to that gland as well as a nerve plexus connection.  Learn what areas of the mindbody work for you and which ones aren’t meeting their full potential.  Within each Chakra there is a relationship to specific mindbody conditions and the root cause of them.  We will discuss how our emotions play a pivotal role in our wellness and what emotions are linked to each Chakra.  This course is multi-dimensional and experiential and it requires an extensive amount of inner-personal work.

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

  • Define the Chakra System and its’ properties
  • Define and discuss Ayurvedic Medicine
  • Explore, evaluate and discuss the connection between the Chakra System and the healing process for the mindbody
  • Explore, create and demonstrate Chakra assignments that will enhance each Chakra’s well-being
  • Explore and Integrate the main theme of each Chakra into a working system with activities and assignments
